Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional
  • 1/2 cup warm marinara sauce for dipping

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Small saucepan
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the dough into 1-inch pieces using kitchen scissors or a knife.
  3. Prepare garlic oil: Warm olive oil in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Do not brown.
  4. Season the dough: Toss dough pieces in a bowl with garlic oil, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  5. Arrange and bake: Spread pieces evenly on the baking sheet. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Finish: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley while warm. Serve with marinara.

Notes

Keep dough covered until cutting to prevent drying.
Don’t overcrowd the pan; space allows even browning.
If bottoms brown too quickly, move pan to upper rack.
